Ugh
Work is getting to be a real pain in the ass. Not complicated or hard.. just a pain. I have here.. no less than 20 emails and 8 logged phone calls where this ONE SINGLE document was either the only subject, main subject or in 2 or 3 cases, only mentioned.
This ONE SINGLE document held up the "go live" date for an entire company. When it came down to a game of chicken of who was going to fill out and fax the document, the people just wanted to call and give us the info over the phone. When we said we needed the paper.. almost in retaliation, we had to wait another week for it. just a freakin peice of paper... GaWd!
Another company has a department that opposed the purchase of our software. That department has put up so many roadblocks and have complained so much, that as I write this, my boss is in there APOLOGIZING for miscommunications... even though it was their fault for dragging their feet and not absorbing/acting on the information I provided for them.
hehehe other than this bit of work crap, things are going well.. I had an interesting weekend... practically bared my soul and all my disfunctions to someone... argh... difficult and scary. It didn't seem to affect anything.. that makes things 10x better. I still don't feel better about my disfunctions, but aside from him accepting them, I got help sorting through them.. and now I'm trying to keep my chin up and a stiff upper lip and start moving in what seems to be a logical and practical direction... no matter how elementary or fundamental these first steps seem... :-/
